VICENTE
My Journey
My name is Vicente Losa Riera, I was born on October 16, 2008, in Caracas, Venezuela, as the youngest of three children. Not long after I was born, my family made the decision to move to Miami, Florida. Those years in South Florida had a big impact on my life. I discovered new cultures, learned English, and experimented with different sports, such as soccer, tennis, baseball and golf. After six years, however, we moved back home.
Once in Venezuela, I began playing golf seriously. By the age of 12, I knew this was more than just a sport for me, it was a passion worth dedicating myself to. Even though I still enjoy playing tennis and soccer in my spare time. I focused entirely on golf, it has transformed my life, teaching me discipline, perseverance, and the value of hard work. Beyond the lessons, golf has given me friendships and connections that I will carry forever.

My home club is the Caracas Country Club, where I have trained throughout my golfing career. For about five years, I was the only junior in the club, yet I never stopped pushing myself. Since I was 10, I have competed consistently, both in nationally and internationally. One of my proudest moments came in 2023, when I won the qualifier to represent Venezuela at the CAMPEONATO SUDAMERICANO PREJUVENIL in Chile, the South American Boys 14–15 Championship, where only three boys per country compete.
I have also sought opportunities to grow beyond my home country. I attended the International Junior Golf Academy (IJGA) in Orlando, FL for three summers to refine my game, and this past summer, thanks to the Congaree Foundation, I had the unforgettable opportunity to travel to Scotland, the birthplace of golf. Today, I continue my journey in Venezuela, training under the guidance of my swing coach, Victor Fookes, who supports me virtually from Chile and my head coach Jaime Acevedo in Venezuela
Golf is not just a sport for me, it is my passion, my teacher, and my dream. Every swing, every round, and every challenge brings me closer to the player and person I aspire to become.

Home Course
I've been a member of the Caracas Country Club (CCC) since before I was born. The club has been a second home to my family for many years, which is why it was only logical for my golf journey to begin on its classic course.
The club’s course is 6,800 yards, a par 71, with a rating of 71.2 and a slope of 120.

My Team.
Although golf seems like an individual sport, it's really not. Behind my game there is an entire team of people leading and cheering me on. My coordination, support, strategy, and technique depend on the people around me. I am who I am because of them, and they will forever be the protagonists of my journey.
Community Service
Community service has showed me different realities and has taught me that we all have an impact in this world and without a doubt, that teamwork can achieve great results
